The Manager, Marketing & Advocacy will report to the Vice President, Marketing and Advocacy helping to fulfill the mission at VolunteerMatch, a universal platform strengthening the ethos and impact of volunteering at massive scale. This role works closely with all members of the Solutions team as well as other members of the extended Client Support and Product team.

The goals of the Manager, Marketing & Advocacy are:

  • Support the relationships, tasks and technology needed to drive high-impact sales, marketing and advocacy campaigns and activities
  • Collaborate with other members of the Solutions team to help ensure the success of global communications and advocacy and strategic revenue efforts (including both earned and philanthropic) to maximize customer relationships, revenue and impact
  • Strengthen and expand VolunteerMatch's solutions footprint through design and delivery of programs that accelerate adoption of our Open Network API subscription products and services

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write and publish content in our marketing vehicles including blogs, eBooks, email and social media for the nonprofit, volunteer and corporate communities
  • Skilled in problem solving, creativity, planning and project and process management
  • Create marketing campaigns to drive adoption of Open Network API subscription products and services
  • Manage email outreach
  • Promote and produce webinars/virtual panels

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in communications and/or marketing
  • Project management skills
  • Marketing strategy experience
  • Ability to proactively approach deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
