The Director, Partner and Account Management, will report to the Vice President, Customer Success & Partnerships helping to fulfill the mission at VolunteerMatch, a universal platform strengthening the ethos and impact of volunteering at massive scale. This role works closely with all members of the Solutions team as well as other members of the extended VolunteerMatch team to manage partner and account relationships..

The goals of the Director, Partner and Account Management are:

  • Accelerate adoption of VolunteerMatch’s Open Network API subscription products and services
  • Collaborate with other members of the Solutions team to build new business and increase engagement with existing customers
  • Oversee cross-functional support and delivery of the elements of partner and account relationships that extend across sales, marketing, product, engineering and support.


  • Manage a book of business for high impact partners and sponsors who engage with VolunteerMatch to promote adoption of the open network API subscription and services
  • Serve as the hub of cross-functional activity to manage, prioritize and deliver against the goals of any given partnership
  • Drive the relationship between VolunteerMatch and various partners, sponsors and collaborators to ensure that the expectations of the partnership are met
  • Understand the needs of customers by gathering feedback, providing guidance, and communicating VolunteerMatch’s existing and future products and services, and share voice of partners to advocate for client success
  • Contribute to data collection and reporting related to our Solutions team tactics and performance

Desired Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a partnership manager to drive successful outcomes in a cross-functional role
  • Skilled in technology, problem solving, creativity, planning and project management
  • Five or more years previous experience managing partnerships, advocacy and marketing-driven partners/sponsors
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Interested in emerging technologies, bringing a learning orientation
  • Passionate team-player who can contribute your talents towards promoting social responsibility
  • Hubspot experience preferred
